ABOUT US:
CORNERSTONE HISTORY
In 1993, Cornerstone and related entities became Managing Partner in the first of two operating real estate joint ventures with Koll Capital Markets Group, Inc., now a wholly owned subsidiary of CB Richard Ellis, Inc. As the managing partner, Cornerstone was responsible for acquiring, operating, and repositioning all multi-tenant industrial properties acquired through the joint venture as well as all equity and debt funding, investor reporting, and investor relations.
In 1996, Cornerstone formed the first of three operating real estate joint ventures with Citigroup. Cornerstone was the Managing Partner for these three joint ventures.
In 2000 Cornerstone launched its first publicly offered real estate fund structured to provide individuals and smaller pension funds with a proven real estate investment strategy favored by large pension funds and institutional investors. This strategy seeks to deliver low volatility, competitive economic returns, an inflation hedge and a negative correlation to bond and bond funds that helps reduce overall portfolio volatility.
Today, Cornerstone's funds are sold by thousands of FINRA (formally known as NASD) registered financial advisors throughout the country.
